All Phoenix Improv Festival shows will be on Stage West of the Herberger Theater Center, which is located at on the corner of Second Street and Monroe Street in downtown Phoenix.

Traveling by light rail?

If you’re coming from north and west of downtown, the First Avenue & Van Buren light rail stop is closest to the Herberger. Get off there, walk one block south to Monroe Street, then three blocks east to 2nd Avenue, and you’ve found the fun!

If you’re coming from east of downtown, the 3rd Street & Washington light rail stop is the way to go. Exit your train there, walk west to 2nd Street, then one block north to Monroe, and you’re home free!

Parking Information

Parking near the Herberger is plentiful!

Metered parking is available along Second Street, Third Street, and Monroe Street. The current metered parking rate is $1.50 per hour with a two hour maximum, but is free on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday after 8pm.

Nearby public parking structures include the Chase Garage (enter from First or Second Streets between Monroe & Van Buren), the Arizona Center (enter from Third Street heading south from Fillmore), and the Hyatt Regency Garage (enter off Second Street just north of Adams and south of Monroe).

Pre-Show Information

If you’re driving and parking near the Herberger, we recommend giving yourself an extra 10 minutes before the show.

The doors of the Herberger Theater’s Stage West will open 30 minutes prior to show time. Seats are general admission, so please arrive early to assure your party can be seated together. Balconies will not be open for all shows.
